The services I offer are listed below. Each of them are stand alone therapies but do work nicely in conjunction with each other. I'll often offer a combination of all three depending on what's needed and this is always discussed prior to any work taking place. Please select a heading for more information:

Hypnotherapy is the gateway to the unconscious mind, the part that controls us for around 95% of any given day. The unconscious mind stores every memory, emotion and behaviour and runs those same programs on default whatever situation you are in. This is why it's hard to change an emotion or behaviour, because consciously you have no control over it. For this you need to go to the unconscious mind which is what hypnotherapy allows you to do.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming allows you to understand how the language of the mind creates and runs the patterns or 'programs' that each of us has which determine how we live our life. These are our patterns of thought, behaviour and emotions that we engage in repeatedly, day to day, that are mostly automatic. By using NLP we can change or enhance those programs and therefore change those behaviours and thoughts we no longer want.

By regulating our breathing and learning how to breathe 'on purpose' it is possible to breathe yourself into or out of any state. It is one of the fastest ways to move ourselves into the parasympathetic or sympathetic nervous system depending on how we need to be in any given situation. Breathing in this way can easily decrease blood pressure, slow the heart rate and enter into a relaxed, rest and digest state whenever you need to, ready to drift off into a wonderful, peaceful sleep...

My name is Gemma Walker and I am a certified Hypnotherapist, NLP Practitioner and Breath Coach.

I'm based in Birmingham in the UK and have a passion for helping people get over their limitations using hypnotherapy and NLP. I used to suffer with crippling anxiety myself to the point where it stopped me from doing a whole host of things. I was always on guard, always weary and I worried excessively about what could or might happen. I was self-conscious, self-critical and public speaking, speaking to groups or giving presentations were things I'd run away from but then one day, finally, I decided to try hypnotherapy.

Not only did I try it but along with using NLP I went from avoiding doing anything new to jumping head first into a new career so I could help others in the same way that I was helped. I found it life-changing and if you'd allow me, I'd love to help you change your life too :)

You'll be able to choose if you prefer the call to take place over Zoom (video call) or via WhatsApp (voice call). Sessions take place either locally, face-to-face or online via Zoom. In-person sessions are available at a range of locations in and around the Birmingham area, England. Online sessions are available throughout the day, including early mornings or late evenings and on weekends.
